We are running a competition, to design a ‘Thank You’ card that we can send to our supporters, fundraisers, volunteers and friends to show our appreciation.

Aim of competition:

As a charity there are many people and organisations who help us throughout the year with fundraising, partnerships, donations and so much more and they are very important to us! We want to let them know how much we appreciate their support.

 

To help us show our appreciation we would love for you to design a “Thank You” card that we can send to them. Let your imagination go wild and design a card that makes you happy and you think someone would like to receive.

 

You can use paint, pens, pencils, crayons, illustrations, graphics or devices such as eye gaze technology, switch or head mouse to design your card, as long as it is your own design.  If you are creating the card using technology then it needs to be designed so that it can be printed as a physical card.

 

Winning designs will be chosen by our judging panel (one of the children we support and their parent(s), two of our trustees and a special guest judge) then printed professionally and sent out to our supporters to thank them.

Categories:

We will have 5 age categories (please specify which age category you are entering when you submit your design).

  • Early Years (0-5 years)

  • Primary (5-11 years)

  • Secondary (12-17 years)

  • Adults (18+)

  • Seniors (60+)

 

Closing date:

Thursday 31st March 2022

 

Six winners will be chosen – one from each category and a special recognition winner will be chosen from all entrants.

 

Winners will receive 10 professionally printed cards of their design along with a Craighalbert Centre goody bag and an invite to our award ceremony!

 

How to enter:

  •  All entries must be completed on A4 paper or be in a digital format that can be printed to A4 size.

  • Please do not include our logo in your design (we will add the logo to the back of the cards).

  • Once you have completed your design, please take a clear photo and e-mail it to alicia@craighalbert.org.uk  specifying which age category you are entering.

  • Please keep the original copy of your design, if your design is selected as a winner, we will need this to send to the printers.

Terms and conditions:

  • All entries must be individuals own work.

  • By entering this competition, you are agreeing for your design and name to be used by Craighalbert Centre if you are chosen as a competition winner.

  • Winning designs will be chosen by our judging panel.

  • Entrants must reside in Scotland.

  • Each winning design will receive 10 professionally printed cards with their design.

  • If under 16 please seek permission from an adult to enter the competition.
