The Kiltwalk

The Kiltwalk is back for 2026, celebrating an incredible 10 years as Scotland’s largest mass-participation fundraising event. With a choice of distances, dates, and locations across the country, there has never been a better time to pull on your tartan, gather your supporters, and step out for a cause that transforms lives.

By choosing to walk for The Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments (Craighalbert), you are helping children across Scotland with complex neurological conditions access the specialist support, therapies, and opportunities they need to achieve their full potential. Every mile you cover and every pound you raise will directly support our work with children and families, and with eligible Gift Aid we can claim an extra 25% on top of your fundraising.

Why Fundraise?

£10

Can help us purchase musical instruments for music space sessions that nurture our youngest children’s ability to connect, communicate, and bond with their families.

£25

Can help us provide a water space session to nurture one of our youngest child’s communication, posture and movement skills, physical and emotional wellbeing and pre-swimming skills.

£50

Can support a child to work with a Speech and Language Therapist, unlocking their potential to communicate and connect with the world around them.

Most importantly, we will give you an incredible reason to put in those months of training and fundraising, because you will know that your efforts are helping children with complex neurological conditions access life-changing support. Your commitment enables us to deliver specialist therapies, early intervention programmes, and family support that improve outcomes, build confidence, and open up possibilities for children who face profound challenges. Every pound you raise helps create opportunities that would not otherwise exist. You are not just taking part in a walk; you areenabling children to achieve.
