On 18th February, we were delighted to bring colleagues from across Craighalbert together for our All Staff Team Day. Creating dedicated time and space for our full team to connect is an important part of how we continue to grow as an organisation, and this day was a valuable opportunity to do just that.
The focus of the day was on reflection, collaboration and looking ahead. Colleagues from across the Centre came together to share their perspectives, contribute ideas and help shape our future direction. It was particularly meaningful to hear a wide range of voices, ensuring that our collective experience continues to inform our priorities and decision making.
As an organisation, we are committed to continuous improvement and to investing in our people. Days like this are an important part of that commitment. They allow us to step back from day to day delivery, think strategically and ensure we remain aligned in our purpose. At the heart of this is our ambition to work as One Craighalbert – a connected, collaborative team working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and families we support.
The session was expertly facilitated by Paul McColgan from Focal Point Coaching, who supported us to challenge our thinking, explore new ideas and focus on what matters most. His approach encouraged open discussion and helped create a positive and constructive environment for meaningful dialogue.
We are grateful to all staff who participated so thoughtfully and engaged so openly throughout the day. The energy, honesty and commitment demonstrated by the team gives us great confidence as we move forward.
We are excited about the direction ahead and what we can achieve together as One Craighalbert.
