On Friday 26th November 2021 we had our official Christmas light switch on event. This event was attended by children of the Centre and their families and we had some very special guests including Reindeer from Real Reindeer Scotland, Elf powered bike rides, provided by Cycling without age Scotland, members of the City of Glasgow Chorus entertaining us with their amazing singing, and Santa!

Families went on an adventure through our magical forest looking for Santa, the trail tells the story of "We are going on a Santa hunt". Starting the adventure by travelling through our tunnel on the North Pole Express, then going through the magical Christmas tree Forest, leading to the Icy frozen lake and then a snowstorm, with opportunities to fight off the snow monsters with our snow ball machine. The next stage of the adventure led to a herd of reindeer, followed by Santa's busy workshop and then Elf Village. The final stage of the trail was a visit to Santa's Grotto.

Children were also able to make their very own reindeer food and hot chocolate cones at our craft stations. Everyone enjoyed the hot chocolate and mince pie's.
