Colleagues from across Craighalbert came together for our All Staff Team Day. Creating dedicated time and space for our full team to connect is an important part of how we continue to grow as an organisation, and this day was a valuable opportunity to do just that.

We are pleased to share that our Annual Report for 2024/25 is now available, offering a reflective overview of a year defined by growth, learning and new opportunities. This year has been about embracing innovation in ways that make a tangible difference to children and families. A particular highlight has been the launch of our Water Space Programme, which offers parent and child swim sessions in partnership with Turtle Tots.

We are delighted to share that the December edition of our School Newsletter is now available. This term has been as busy as ever and it has truly felt as though we have galloped towards Christmas, with so many exciting experiences taking place across the school. This edition captures a joyful and energetic end to the term, filled with learning, creativity and festive spirit.

Heather Gray joins Craighalbert from Cosgrove Care as our new CEO, Heather has worked with children and adults with complex needs in the public and third sector for over 30 years and is a strong advocate of human rights.

Craighalbert will be hosting the Sensory Beginnings Master Course from 23rd–25th January 2025 — a rare opportunity to access this highly regarded training in person here in Scotland. Special Craighalbert pricing available to support professional development across Scotland.

On Thursday 30th October, we were delighted to welcome professionals from across education, health, and the third sector to Craighalbert for our 2nd Annual Showcase Event . It was our pleasure to open our doors, share our work, and connect with individuals and organisations equally committed to improving outcomes for children with complex communication, learning, health, and care needs. This year’s theme “Breaking Barriers: A multidisciplinary approach to supporting children
